OCEANEXT 2024 is back after its success in 2016 and 2019.

The International University of the Sea and Coastal Research Institute (IUML) is delighted to announce the much-anticipated third edition of OCEANEXT, set to take place from June 12 to 14, 2024, in the picturesque city of Nantes, France. With the overarching theme “Meeting the challenges of maritime and coastal socio-ecosystems together,” OCEANEXT 2024 promises to be a pivotal event for experts and enthusiasts of marine and coastal sciences. Professor Franck SCHOEFS from the GRRIP community will lead a special session dedicated to “Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) in Maritime,” providing valuable insights into the responsible and sustainable facets of maritime research.

Started in 2016 by COSELMAR, OCEANEXT brings together people from different fields to talk about how to solve ocean problems. This conference is all about sharing ideas and coming up with solutions that make sense.
